Session Objectives:
  • Determine the different between Web 1.0 and Web 2.0
  • Identify various Web 2.0 tools and the purpose they may serve within the classroom
  • Select at least one tool, create an account, and explore the functions of that tool
  • Use the shared presentation "Web 2.0 Tools" (through Google Docs) to educate others about your selected tool
  • Present information to the class
  • Reflect about the impact that Web 2.0 tools can have in a classroom



Session Components:
  • Teacher Tube Video- Web 2.0 Explained (approximately 4 minutes)
  • Web 2.0 Tools
  • Google Docs- Create an account or sign in and view the "Web 2.0 Tools" shared presentation
  • Select a Web 2.0 tool, create an account, and explore the functions
  • Using the "Web 2.0 Tools" shared presentation through Google Docs, add a slide or two with information about your Web 2.0
  • View the presentation as a class
